THE STUDENT SPIRIT COMPETITION
So what is the Spirit Competition? Any student organization can enter the spirit competition. Teams who enter the competition will earn points in three different categories, for a chance to win $500 for their Student Organization! Plus, teams who place first in each category ALSO will win prizes!
SO HOW DO YOU WIN?
BE SEEN
Points awarded for designated events and are based on the percentage of members that attend specific Hoco events…the more that attend, the more points you earn!
BE LOUD
Show your Islander pride for the world to see by competing in brand-new daily social media challenges…a group of judges will be scoring you on school spirit and creativity!
BE SPIRITED
Show your organization’s creativity by decorating a wooden “I” and displaying it on campus. The higher you place, the more points you get.
And don’t worry…bonus points will be awarded to the represented groups with Islanders participating in the Homecoming Court vote.
