IZZY’S CUP
The Homecoming committee would like to invite you to show your office to show their Islander spirit by competing for Izzy’s Cup! The winning office receives the coveted Izzy’s Cup and bragging rights for a year, PLUS a $200 catering credit.
WHAT’S REQUIRED?
For this year’s competition, offices will be scored in two primary areas:
OFFICE DECORATING
It’s Homecoming week so there’s no time better to show your Islander spirit! Decorate a space in your office or department…this can include your office suite, doors, windows, desks, etc. Be sure to include lots of Islander spirit. All decorating can begin on Monday, February 17th. It MUST be completed by 8:00am on Monday, February 24th.
SCORING
Participation – 30 points
First Place – 30 Points
Second Place – 20 Points
Third Place – 10 Points
BLOCK PARTY BOOTH
For the first-time ever, competing offices will be asked to assist at this year’s Homecoming Block Party on Saturday, February 29th. Entries are asked to host a interactive activity or game to engage attendees. Each group with be supplied with a 6 foot table and 2 chairs. Groups will be judged on creativity, Islander spirit, and crowd interaction.
SCORING
Participation – 60 points
First Place – 45 Points
Second Place – 30 Points
Third Place – 15 Points
