THE BLUE & GREEN CUP
It’s time for your office, unit, division or college to show off your Islander spirit by competing for the ‘Blue & Green Cup’.
Other than the obvious bragging rights, the winning group will receive a $350 catering credit and the Blue & Green Cup!
WHAT’S REQUIRED?
For this year’s competition, offices will be scored in two primary areas:
OFFICE DECORATING
It’s Homecoming week so there’s no better time to show your Islander spirit! Decorate a space in your office or department…this can include your office suite, doors, windows, desks, etc. Be sure to include lots of Islander spirit. All decorating MUST be completed by 8:00 AM on Tuesday, February 21st.
PHOTO CHALLENGE
In addition to the decorating component, we are adding another challenge to the mix. In honor of our City-Wide Bluesday Tuesday on February 21st, we ask your unit to submit a photo displaying your school spirit to us at homecoming@tamucc.edu.
Both categories will be judged based on creativity, originality, and display of school spirit. Do you have what it takes to hoist the Blue & Green Cup!?
WANT SOME BONUS POINTS?
Areas that participate in this year’s newest event – BLUE FEST – will be provided with additional bonus points!! Details will be provided during registration, or contact Stephanie Schmidt.

The Blue & Green Cup will be presented to the winning office at the Men’s Homecoming Basketball Game on Saturday, February 25th.
